Sometimes it doesn’t seem to matter what you do… Murphy’s law will kick in.. I had to turn a couple good ones out due to a groin injury, glad that’s over… feelin good again now!

This first week in July was a hctic week, where the good ones were a little off and Justin and I both drew some colts that we couldn’t even get out on!

Then we got up in a plane that circled the mountain between Red Lodge & Livingston MT. After running into storm clouds we had to turn back a 700 plane ride that didn’t go anywhere.

Hahaha!!!

All in all it was a rough week with not much profits, Justin made the Short round at Greeley and had some success, I placed at Oakley & Red Lodge!!

Best thing about rodeo is I’ve got another one tonight!!

Feeling GOOD and Riding GOOD! Lofty Goals and Ground to Make Up!

Hey everybody, been a while since I have posted here on my blog.

It has been a slow road back to feeling good and riding good, since a disappointing NFR in December of 2010.

The Good news is that I AM feeling good and riding good minus the daily dings a guy takes.

I’ve been blessed with some good horses over the fourth run. Also blessed with some lofty goals and some ground to make up!

It’s Been An Awesome Week At The National Fnals Rodeo!

If you’ve missed the live coverage of NFR on ESPN, replays are available online if you have access to espn360.com..
We had the espn available at our hotel while we were at the finals, but when I came home Monday, it was not available with my server here..:(
D V has been really riding at the top of his game!

Awesome rides each night.
Tonight was a split for first place!
I’ll be back tomorrow to post some more pics and links to newspaper articles. This mom is getting sleepy and has an early morning in the morning.

D V isn’t letting the tires cool down… whether they’re on his van or part of the landing gear on the plane..

Stanley, Wisconsin brought him a second place,

Sheridan, Wyoming a third place spot,

and a third in the long round at Nampa, Idaho.

The Cody Wyoming Stampede Rodeo turned out to be a good one for D V.

D V scored 86 points aboard ”Gus” an Ike Sankey horse. NO PHOTOS…

and took home a first place… well didn’t go “home” with it, because there’s no time to go home! D V won’t see home in a while. Got Rodeos To Compete In.
